Do you suffer from issues like hormonal imbalance, weight gain, joint pain, and low energy? Do these issues persist despite making changes to your lifestyle? It might be time to try a raw food, plant-based diet.
Why raw?
When you consume your food raw, you obtain the maximum amount of nutrients. Cooking food destroys many of the natural enzymes needed for digestion. Eating raw food eliminates this problem, gives you a fantastic energy boost and eradicates those mid-day crashes.
You also experience improved mental clarity and focus.
Paul Kouchakoff, M.D. discovered in the 1930s that if your diet consists of MORE than 51% cooked food, your body regards the food as a foreign organism and attacks it. He also showed that if 51% of your meals were raw, your white blood cells wouldn't react, because your immune system wouldn't receive a false alarm.
Our immune system is already weighed down by the numerous toxins in our environment. By eating at least 51% of your food raw, you will help reduce the chronic stress on your system while boosting your immunity.
In general, eating your food in its most natural state will be incredibly beneficial to your mind, body, and soul.
