Is there a product that can slow the appearance of aging, manage oily skin, help minimize the appearance of dark spots, and maintain your skin's radiance? Yes. Turmeric is the answer.

All about turmeric

Turmeric has been an essential part of Indian culture for at least 4000 years- widely used as a medicine, a spice for traditional dishes, and a dye for its yellow-orange color.

In Buddhism and Hinduism, turmeric is used to represent purity in ceremonies like marriage and birthing, and also in anointing the statues of deities.

THE HISTORY OF TURMERIC

Turmeric was one of the most valued spices in the Silk Road spice trade. Due to its widespread use, it has more than 50 Sanskrit names- and is known worldwide by many more. It's most common name is curcuma (Latin name). There are over 100 curcuma plants worldwide, but the turmeric we're talking about today is Curcuma longa.

Modern research has boosted the popularity of this spice due to the confirmation of its incredible health benefits.

Internal uses for turmeric

Consuming turmeric consistently supports the cardiovascular and digestive systems.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF TURMERIC

Modern medicine has embraced this herb- over the past 25 years, over 3,000 publications mention the benefits of an active constituent called curcumin.

Studies have shown that consistent consumption of curcumin may ease joint pain, increase circulation, delay the onset of type 2 diabetes, prevent blood clots, and help to improve memory in dementia patients.

TURMERIC IN AYURVEDIC MEDICINE

Ayurvedic medicine includes the use of turmeric to stimulate the liver, so it's prescribed for headaches that are caused by liver stagnation.

Turmeric is affordable, widely available, and has lots of health benefits. Why not add it to your diet?

Turmeric for skin

HELPS REDUCE OILINESS

If you struggle with oily skin, using turmeric will help manage the shine over time. Add the extract to your homemade masks and apply as usual.

NOTE: If you use the powder, ensure you mix it with other ingredients. Turmeric can leave a yellow cast on your skin if you're using it for a long time on its own.

FADES THE APPEARANCE OF DARK SPOTS

Turmeric is an ancient beauty remedy for brightening the skin. Add some turmeric extract to your bath water and watch your skin take on an illuminating effect.

DELAYS THE APPEARANCE OF AGING

Forget those expensive anti-aging products. Turmeric contains potent antioxidants that protect against environmental stressors. These stressors wear out the skin, leading to wrinkles, sagging, age spots, and fine lines.

GREAT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

Turmeric is soothing, making it perfect for delicate skin. It also provides minerals and antioxidants that keep sensitive skin calm
